In Dahar Nawala, a locality in Tehsil Chishtian, District Bahawalnagar (Punjab ,Pakistan), extremist members of the Ahmadiyya Jamaat, along with their associates, brutally tortured and killed a Muslim.
According to details, the deceased, Amjad Naseer, was affiliated with a religious organization (TLP)) that regularly informed the police about the illegal activities of the Ahmadiyya Jamaat in the area. In addition to spreading awareness about these unlawful activities, Amjad Naseer was also an active member of his religious organization.
Sources and FIR indicate that before this incident, members of the Ahmadiyya Jamaat had repeatedly threatened Amjad Naseer and other Muslims in the area with death.On Saturday, March 8 (2025), approximately nine individuals killed Amjad Naseer for opposing the Ahmadiyya jamaat.
An FIR for the case was registered at the Dahar Nawala police station on the complaint of the deceased’s brother, Muhammad Wakeel.According to FIR No. 9/03/2025-602, nine suspects have been nominated in this case.
Amjad Naseer’s funeral was held on the night of March 9, attended by a large number of local residents. During the funeral, there was strong condemnation of the illegal activities of the Ahmadiyya Jamaat and the murder of Amjad Naseer.
